Bangkok's High-End Thai Restaurants

By , About.com Guide

Wondering where to go for high-end Thai dining in Bangkok? Restaurants at the city’s top luxury hotels are always a sure bet in terms of service and ambiance but they’re not always the best places to go for great food. Here are a handful of upscale places to go if you’re looking for a special Thai meal.

1. Bo.Lan

One of Bangkok's hottest tables is Bo.lan, a celebration of Thai flavors with a decidedly modern flair. The proprietors, a Thai and English couple who worked at the famous Nahm restaurant in London before venturing out on their own, are committed to creating authentic, sophisticated Thai food. Read the full review of Bo.Lan.

2. nahm at the Metropolitan

Yes, this new restaurant is in a hotel but don’t be turned off, if it’s anything like David Thompson’s other branch in London it will exceed your expectations. nahm in London is the only Michelin-starred Thai restaurant in Europe.
