The Pattaya bar scene is notorious and is something most outsiders find shocking. Go-go bars, strip clubs, scantily clad women dancing on poles. You name it, it happens in Pattaya. So, as you can imagine, it’s not the most family friendly destination in Thailand! But even if you’re not into strip clubs, Pattaya’s night life can be fun since it has an “up all night, dance till dawn” vibe to it.
Walking Street:
Pattaya’s Walking Street is the main nightlife area and both sides of the wide street are flanked with clubs and bars. Most bars in Pattaya are quite small but have music and plenty of alcohol. There really are no standout bars or exceptional nightclubs in Pattaya so if you’re looking for a night out, bar hopping around Walking Street is your best bet.
