Truth be told, Bangkok's subway system is pretty small. Just one line and 18 stops serve a small part of central Bangkok. Though it's not as vast as the subway systems in New York, Paris, Beijing or even Boston for that matter, it's still a great transport option if you're visiting the capital. It's relatively new, spotlessly clean, safe, comfortable and much faster than getting around the city by car or bus.
