The Skytrain

Traffic in Bangkok can be a nightmare, and with the unexpected downpours these past few weeks it's even worse, but there is one sure fire solution to the gridlock. Take the Skytrain! If you are going anywhere in central Bangkok, there is no faster or easier way to get around. It's not perfect: thanks to the steps at every station, it's not really stroller friendly, and it can get impossibly crowded during rush hour. Still, if it's a choice between the train and sitting in traffic for an hour, there is no contest.
