After the Suan Lum Night Market closed a while back, there was a big void for tourists in Bangkok. The old Night Market had a lot to offer visitors. It was organized, contained in a central location, had lots of places to eat and drink, and great shopping, too. When the outdoor mall Asiatique opened just south of Chinatown recently, people were skeptical that it could replace the old Night Market. Even the name was kinda weird, right? Well, it turns out Asiatique is a great place to go if you want to do some evening market shopping, and many of Suan Lum's vendors have relocated there. It's also a great place to have dinner, see a show or stroll on the river. Sound interesting? It is, and no doubt it will soon be one of Bangkok's favorite tourist attractions. The cool thing is that it also attracts lots of people who actually live in the city, so if you visit you'll feel like you're actually seeing a part of Thailand, too.

I have been to Suan Lum for dinner with friends, foods are very cheap. But I never go to Asiatique I heard from my friends they recommend visit to there. There are a lot of foods and shops and it’s romantic place for walk around. I will go to there soon.
